The Center for Earth, Energy,  and Democracy (CEED) (“the Organization”) is a nonprofit organization committed to protecting the privacy of our donors, volunteers, members, program participants, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our websites at www.ceed.org and www.ajustclimate.org  (the ”Sites”), make a donation, sign up for our newsletter, volunteer with us, or otherwise interact with our programs and services.

We do not share donor lists with other organizations for their own marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Payment transactions are encrypted using industry-standard technology (such as SSL/TLS) and processed through a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7.   Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose outlined in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and to maintain accurate donor and historical records. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.
